We are committed to ending violence against women and children in our community. A major part of this ambitious and worthy goal is sharing knowledge. If you are interested in having a staff person provide an educational event on:

  • family violence
  • domestic violence
  • impacts on children
  • how to recognize signs of abuse
  • or other important topic areas

Heal Your Heart with Art:

A program for women who have experienced domestic abuse, using painting to help with their healing.  Safe, supportive, confidential environment.  No cost to participate.

Email olivia@thirdplaceth.ca for location details or more info!Third Place Transition House will be hosting a Resource Drop-In Clinic in the Portapique area on April 1 from 11:00am-2:00pm for those who have experienced domestic violence.With no appointment needed, individuals may drop-in between 11:00am-2:00pm to engage in a brief intake assessment to determine which resources best suit their needs. They will then be connected with the resources present for a private conversation for up to 30 minutes to discuss how they can be supported.
