We are committed to ending violence against women and children in our community. A major part of this ambitious and worthy goal is sharing knowledge. If you are interested in having a staff person provide an educational event on:

A program for women who have experienced domestic abuse, using painting to help with their healing.  Safe, supportive, confidential environment.  No cost to participate.

Moose Hide Campaign Day is an Indigenous-Led movement that raises awareness for and aims to end the disproportionate rates of violence towards women and girls through highlighting the importance of engaging men and boys in addressing the issue.This campaign urges people to wear a pin of moose hide to spark conversations to shine a light into the shadows of this social illness of violence in Canada. Third Place Transition House is seeking a compassionate, organized, and client-focused Office & Housing Support Coordinator to support women and families accessing shelter and outreach services. This role supports clients by helping them navigate systems, access resources, and advocate for their needs, while also providing administrative support to help Third Place effectively deliver services to clients.
